...insecurity is a polysyllabic word for FEAR - fear is the other side of hope...hope and fear companions of the enlightened soul - each tempering the other...the sacred warrior having SURRENDERED the selfish self to the selfless Self has a preference for neither fear nor hope manifesting fearlessness and fearfulness and hopefulness and hopelessness as suchness requires to maintain EQUANIMTY...the individuated soul understanding (binah) that wisdom (chochmah) are united in the word (logos) ungrasping grasps the truth (da'at)and beauty (tiferet) in the succinct teaching of Lao Tzu

"..the body is not the true self.."...

...that which is real in ineffable consciousness manifesting as conscience or limitless COMPASSION (chesed)...

...enjoyed reflecting on your thoughts...namaste...

my undying love
(for my beloved mirror)

“…as we know ourselves so we perceive others…”
			-dafree whitewolfe

such love of that I sing is not true love
that confronts when it confrontation finds
or conspires with the deceiver to deceive

true love is such love as when true to love
ever bonds with the binder to assure
that each teacher may each seeker understand

love of such I sing is not love truly
that condemns when it condemnation meets
or desires with the destroyer to destroy

truly love is this love as truly loves
that forgives when it unforgiveness finds
ever joins the pardoner in pardoning

as such just as love loving love just such as
neither this nor that nor neither nor both
o my beloved
	       beyond all antinomies
such love as i sing is not other than yours
the presence of my undying love for you
			we are our beloved’s poet

mark emmanuel christopher valentine
(august 14, 2008)

...never met sri chimnoy in person but he is one of the great ones...his poetry is safe passage through samsara to nirvana...as we hope is but some of ours...^^~~~~~~

Hi Abichal,
I'm interested in interviewing you for an article I'm writing about the 3100 mile race in New York, and your involvement in it. Would you please let me know whether this would be possible?
Many thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
Great website!
Kind regards,
Nick Moore

Thanks for this insightful post. I've meditated on and off for years and have finally developed a consistent practice of at least once a day and sometimes twice. I'm starting to get to that place where I have waking lucid experiences and know with practice that I will continue to develop transcendent abilities.

In terms of reductionist thinking on meditation, reduction of meditation is inherently a left brain activity and yet meditation is inherently right brain. Therefore reductionist can never know the true power and benefits of meditation unless they are able to transcend left and move right.

Thanks again for this thoughtful post.

this is an interesting article. but i think you should always specify, for the sake of clarity, when you cite research done on 'meditation,' which type of meditation the research studies looked at. in most of the cases cited above, the studies were done on TM. research on one technique does not necessarily apply to all other meditation practices, because, as studies have now shown, not all practices produce the same results.
